The generosity of the students on the Blue Team this year has been amazing. We received enough food to put together 5 turkey baskets at Thanksgiving, plus donate much more to the Interact Club's can drive. Now, we are seeing our students step up once again for the Sponsor-A-Child project.
Each year, Plymouth South High School classes and organizations participate in this program to raise money and help buy gifts for children in need. This year, the Blue Team has stepped up and will be sponsoring two children, both are males, ages 4 and 17. While most of the items on the lists are basic needs, like shaving supplies and socks, we are hoping to raise enough to be able to also include something special from each child's wish list, as well. We are collecting donations in Mr. Tracey's room during the day. Donations will be accepted through this Thursday, 12/8, then we will be counting up the money and heading out with the wish lists for these boys.
