Our essential questions for this unit are:
*What factors influence our moral growth?
*What kinds of experiences help us to learn how to judge right from wrong?
During this unit, we will be studying these questions as they apply to us as individuals, as well as the characters in the story.
For the first week, most work will be based on class discussion and small in class activities. We will begin reading the book starting next week and you can expect nightly reading homework at that time, with chapter questions to be answered through Google Classroom. This is an online tool available to us, and each class will get a full tutorial on how to sign-up and use this Google app during class this week. Homework can be completed on Google Classroom on a computer or mobile device - anything with an internet connection. Students who do not have access to one of these at home, should plan to come in before or after school to use the computers in the library or computer lab; students may also see me for a K block pass to writing lab to complete the work before it is due.
New vocabulary packets will also be given later this week and will be due at the end of next week. Dates will be posted shortly.
