Research Journals

Throughout our research unit, we are keeping in-class journals on topics we cover. Many of you have been absent and need to make-up missed journals. Below, you will find the first five entries listed. Remember - all entries must be numbered, have the prompt/question at the top of the page, and must be written in complete sentences.

Entry #1:
Write a few sentences on your feelings on the research paper.

Entry #2:
What are the five most important research terms (from your packet)?  Why is each term important?

Entry #3:
Why is it important to cite your sources?  How would you feel if someone stole your hard work?

Entry #4:
In your own words, why is it important to avoid plagiarism?

Entry #5:
How will a solid thesis statement help make your paper stronger?
