January is moving right along. We are in the middle of a transition period in many of our classes, beginning new units this week. Here is a look at where we are headed and what is due this week:
Period C:
We are wrapping up our poetry unit. Students have their poem memorizations due Thursday and their poetry analysis paper due on Friday.
Vocabulary packets are also due Friday, and students also have their weekly vocabulary quiz Friday.
Period D:
We have just begun a new unit, reading Of Mice and Men. Students are doing most of the reading in class, but will have chapter projects and quizzes to be studying for at home.

Period E/G:
We have just begun a short poetry unit, where we are looking at a variety of devices used by writers. From here, we will be moving into a study of Homer's Odyssey.
