It seems hard to believe, but it is already October! Progress reports went home on Friday, so now you know exactly where you stand in English. If you aren't happy with your grade, there is still plenty of time to bring it up before the end of the term. We have lots of work to do still, and you can always take advantage of extra help after school. Remember, I am always here late on Monday afternoons, and I can make arrangements for other days, if necessary, too!
We are beginning our first major papers over the next two weeks, which will be a major part of this term's grade. This is a very important process, as we will be setting the groundwork for not only this assignment, but many more to come. If you feel confused or have extra questions, now is the time to stay for help before you fall further behind.
