Weekend homework is due on Tuesday. Here is what you need to remember to get done:
Period C: Read A Separate Peace through the first half of Chapter 9 by Tuesday.
Period D: Read A Separate Peace Chapter 5 by Tuesday.
Period E & G: Read Of Mice and Men to page 83 by Tuesday.
On Monday, we will be going to the computer lab for our SRI testing. I mentioned this earlier in the year, but our date to complete the testing was postponed until 9/26. This test will test student reading levels to allow us to track progress throughout the year. Students will also be able to input their personal interests and when the test is complete they will be able to print a list of books in their interest and lexile areas. This will be very helpful with the independent reading students will soon be required to do for English class.
Also this week, PSHS Parents' Night is Thursday from 7-9pm. I hope as many parents as possible will be able to attend!
